Hively's Vision

Because we worship and serve as disciples of Jesus Christ, we walk with our neighbors to build a diverse community that embodies God's hospitality, reconciliation, healing and hope.

Our goals

Hively Avenue Mennonite Church will emphasize the themes of hospitality and our growing cultural diversity:

• Rooting ourselves in the biblical story, with teaching, preaching and worship on these themes

• Reflecting these themes in various aspects of our congregational life

• Reaching out into the community in ways consistent with these gifts

• Recognizing our place as guest and steward in God’s creation and working toward reconciliation with the diversity of all that God has created.
