Committed to healing and hope
Committed to healing and hope
At Hively, we join with our neighbors to bring God's healing and hope to our community and the world. As a congregation and as individuals, we add our gifts of time, skills and resources where we see God at work.
These are a few of the ways God has called us to be involved

Acknowledging the history of this place
We recognize that the land where we worship belongs to God, as does all of creation. We also acknowledge that Miami and Potawatomi peoples lived and thrived here before settlers of European descent claimed ownership of it and displaced those for whom this land was home. As we pursue our goal to attend to growing diversity in our congregation, we lament this injustice in our history and commit ourselves to just and respectful relationships within our congregation and our neighborhood.
